"Linda's help training my dog, Biscuit, was invaluable. She is patient, answered all ny questions, and was very in tune with Biscuit, as well as my boyfriend and I. We all loved having her in our home. As a first time dog owner, I felt that I was way over my head with my large energetic dog. Linda helped me understand my rambuntious young dog with a gentle loving approach, which helped me in creating a bond with my dog. The once thought to be wild child dog, is now a playful, loving dog which I am very much in tune with. Everyone comment on the positive change in my dog from before she was trained to now" Denise, Brewster, NY
In home obedience lessons take place initially inside of your home to provide a "distraction-free" environment, and then proceed outside on your property and/or in your neighborhood, to proof and test your dog or puppies training.

Dog friendly In home lessons finish with your being able to practice the techniques yourself, with instructions and guidance from Linda. "If you would understand this secret, you must first understand the distinction between training an animal and educating one. Trained animals are relatively easy to turn out. All that is required is a book of instructions, a certain amount of bluff and bluster, something to use for threatening and punishing purposes, and of course the animal. Educating an animal, on the other hand, demands keen intelligence, integrity, imagination, and the gentle touch, mentally, vocally, and physically."
